ECR reports a mountain range result for the 2025 Ultra Bee. We examine the route, remaining charge, and comparison limits.

One result, on identified terrain

In its May 16, 2025 test, Electric Cycle Rider reports 20 miles, about 32 km, with 8% remaining. The stock 2025 Ultra Bee ran in Sport on wet Colorado mountain trails. This is a result for that ride, not a guaranteed range figure.

Our reading: keep a useful reserve

The final distance is interesting, but a reader needs to plan a ride with a reserve. A route designed to finish nearly empty does not accommodate detours, surprises, or harder riding. Separate maximum observed distance from the distance you choose to plan.

Build your own reference on a familiar loop with an easy return. Record starting and ending charge, elevation, pace, temperature, and equipment. Several comparable rides are more useful than extrapolating a percentage change over a few hundred yards.

Why comparing years requires care

A model-year change may affect available power, settings, or the battery. Two distances from different days do not isolate the effect of one change. Surface conditions and pace may differ too.

Ask exactly which bike was measured. Our MY25 and MY26 comparison identifies specifications from different markets. The Ultra Bee name in a headline does not make every figure transferable.

Turn the video into useful questions

Before buying, ask the seller about low-charge behavior, charging time within your schedule, and documentation for the supplied battery. Look for an answer connected to your riding, not just an advertised maximum.

The Ultra Bee’s intermediate size is part of its appeal. Consider range together with fit, ergonomics, and support; one distance does not summarize the quality of a motorcycle.
